Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to design, develop, and optimize data processing and platform services using Java and Big Data frameworks.Key Responsibilities:Data Processing and Platform ServicesDesign, develop, and optimize data processing and platform services using Java and Big Data frameworks (e.g., Spark, Hadoop).Build and maintain scalable microservices and backend APIs supporting data-driven applications and integrations across systems.Deploy, manage, and scale workloads using Kubernetes and containerized environments.Work closely with platform, and DevOps teams to ensure reliability, automation, and performance.Implement cloud-native and CI/CD best practices to streamline delivery and operations.Requirements:QualificationsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.4+ years of progressive experience as a Software Engineer, Data Engineer, or Platform Engineer.Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, distributed engineering environment.Skills & ExperienceMandatory SkillsStrong expertise in Java and SpringBoot for backend and data-intensive applications.Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive, etc.).Practical knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration and scaling.Nice to HaveFamiliarity with Real-Time SystemsFamiliarity with Kafka or other real-time streaming systems.Knowledge of RDBMS (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
