Meet the Team

As part of central CAD group, CAD Physical Verification (PV) team is responsible for developing and supporting various PV decks like DRC, antenna, dummy fill, LVS and extraction. Collaborates and collects specs from other teams to code decks like PERC, float, density, cmp from scratch. The team is also responsible for developing and automating various flows and methodologies to improve verification quality and optimize performance.

Responsibilities

Develop and own PV QA flow to validate quality of all PV decks and flowsCreate QA testcases for custom rule checks and automate QA flow for every deck updateSupport design and layout teams to resolve any PV related issues during design development cycleCode custom scripts using Python to improve optimize verification flow and performanceDevelopment and support of various PV decks and flowsPerform new tool/feature evaluations and benchmarks.Work closely with external vendors to report and track bugs in the software

Skills you'll need:

2+ years of related professional experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineeringProficiency in scripting languages like Python/PERL/Shell for developing and automating QA flowsStrong knowledge of cross section and behavior of various devices like mosfet, resistors, capacitors etcGood understanding of various physical verification flows like DRC and LVSKnowledge deck coding languages like Calibre SVRF or similar languages is plusTeam player with good communication and problem-solving skillsGood documentation skills are critical.
