Deputy General Manager (DGM) – Power Electronics (R&D)

Team Size: 14+
Responsibilities: Lead Development and Localization Efforts: Oversee the development and localization efforts for EV electrical and electronic components, including battery management systems, electric motors, power distribution units (PDUs), junction boxes, and control systems. Ensure compliance with standards and regulations.
- VCU Development and Integration: Oversee the development of Vehicle Control Units (VECUs), encompassing both hardware and software. Ensure seamless integration with other Low Voltage Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and clusters including DC DC converters, inverters, Power Distribution Units (PDU), Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Control Units (MCU) Multiplexer, Battery Thermal Management Systems (BTMS), Brake Control Systems (BCS), and Traction Control Systems (TCS).
- Manage Design and Integration: Manage the design and integration of electrical systems for EV buses, trucks, and large commercial vehicles. Focus on optimizing performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Drive New Product Development Initiatives: Drive new product development initiatives for EV components, leveraging expertise in vehicle electrification to deliver innovative solutions.
- Prototype Development and Testing: Oversee prototype development and testing activities for EV components, ensuring compliance with design specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance to meet customer requirements and market demands for EV vehicles.
- Stay Updated on Emerging Technologies: Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in electric mobility, identifying opportunities for strategic advancement in the EV component sector.

- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of EV electrical and electronic systems, including battery management, motor control, and power distribution.
- Project Management and Leadership: Proficiency in project management and leadership, with a track record of successful component development projects.
