Senior AI Software EngineerWe're seeking a seasoned AI software engineer to join our high-performance engineering team. As a key member, you will build reliable, self-improving systems that empower subject matter experts to automate their most complex, high-value work.About the RoleThis is a role for experienced engineers who want to solve real-world business challenges and create AI tools that are trusted to make critical decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild AI-Enabled Products: Develop products that are fully enabled by the capabilities of LLMs and other recent developments in foundation models.High-Performance Search and RAG: Build and optimize our data indexing, ranking, and query processing systems for high-performance Search and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).Develop Evaluation Frameworks: Create robust frameworks to evaluate the performance of our agents, RAG systems, and various LLMs.Required Skills and Qualifications3+ years of experience in Software Engineering or end-to-end Data Science, with strong proficiency in Python and data-oriented algorithms.A strong background in distributed AI agents, data systems, or machine learning engineering.Experience with modern Python microservices, including FastAPI, Ray.IO for distributed AI workloads, and Kubernetes orchestration.Familiarity with AI agent stacks, such as LlamaIndex, LangGraph, SmolAgent, Instructor, Anthropic, OpenAI, Qdrant, ParadeDB, Sentence-Transformers, FAISS.Demonstrated experience in building agents, training and evaluating emerging LLMs, building RAG systems, or working with vector databases.Familiarity with our core technologies, including Ray, Postgres, Iceberg, Google Cloud, and Docker/Kubernetes/Helm, is a plus.BenefitsWe offer a rapidly growing startup environment with a high-performance engineering culture that emphasizes personal accountability, autonomy, learning, and growth.Join Our TeamWe value intelligence, respectful collaboration, and shipping code.
