Job Title: Senior E-commerce DeveloperJob Description:As a senior e-commerce developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, high-performance Shopify stores that meet the needs of our global customer base.We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in theme development, customization, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+), as well as experience with Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs.Key Responsibilities:Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.Convert Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD designs into pixel-perfect, responsive Shopify storefronts.Configure and manage store functionalities, including product catalogs, variants, filters, and checkout flows.Integrate and manage third-party apps, CRMs, ERPs, analytics, and APIs (payment gateways, shipping, inventory, etc.).Ensure global store compatibility, including multi-language, multi-currency, and region-specific tax/shipping rules.Optimize store performance using best practices in caching, lazy loading, and code minification.Conduct A/B testing and conversion optimization for improving store UX and sales performance.Troubleshoot and resolve Liquid errors, layout issues, and performance bottlenecks.Implement SEO best practices (schema markup, redirects, canonical tags, meta optimization).Maintain Git-based version control and provide clear documentation for internal teams.Required Skills and Qualifications:Strong proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).Hands-on experience with Shopify REST and GraphQL APIs.Understanding of Shopify Plus and its advanced customization capabilities is a plus.Proficient with Git/GitHub and collaboration tools such as JIRA, Trello, and Slack.Experience with performance optimization tools like Google Lighthouse, GTmetrix, and PageSpeed Insights.Strong attention to detail and a passion for building clean, scalable, and maintainable code.Benefits:As a senior e-commerce developer at our company, you will have the opportunity to work on complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.Others:The ideal candidate will be able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
