About RivetStays we are a growing company expanding our operations in Canada and the United States. With many of our accounting processes already automated, we're looking for a highly detail-oriented and tech-savvy Accountant to support financial operations, manage reconciliations, and handle more complex accounting and tax matters that our systems cannot automate.The role requires managing day-to-day bookkeeping in QuickBooks overseeing accounts receivable and accounts payable including preparing and scheduling payments handling reconciliation of bank credit card and payment accounts managing edge cases and exceptions not covered by our automated systems assisting with monthly quarterly and annual financial reports supporting Canadian tax compliance GST/HST payroll remittances year-end filing and assisting with US tax-related tasks as we expand into the US.Key responsibilities include:Manage Day-to-Day BookkeepingOversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts PayableHandle ReconciliationManage Edge CasesAssist with Financial ReportsSolve Complex Accounting Issues
