Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accounts Professional to support our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist with basic accounting and bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accurate financial records and timely reporting. This role is ideal for a someone with 2 years of experience in accounting, eager to grow and develop their skills in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with Daily Accounting Operations:
Record and process invoices, receipts, payments, and other financial transactions.
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including follow-up on outstanding balances.
Reconciliation & Financial Accuracy:
Perform regular bank, vendor, and account reconciliations.
Ensure that financial data is accurate and up-to-date for monthly and year-end closing processes.
Expense Tracking and Reporting:
Monitor and report on office expenses, identifying potential cost-saving opportunities.
Support with expense analysis and budget tracking for various departments.
Document Management:
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, both digital and physical.
Assist in the preparation of financial documents for audits, budgeting, and reporting.
Support Financial Analysis:
Assist the finance team with basic financial analysis and reporting as needed.
Contribute to the preparation of periodic financial statements and management reports.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2 years of experience in a similar role .
Proficiency in MS Excel; familiarity with accounting software (e.g. Tally , or similar) is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
