Software Quality Assurance SpecialistAbout the RoleThe Software Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and reliability of software applications through structured testing practices. This involves planning test strategies, executing test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support smooth product releases.Test Planning and Execution: Develop and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios to validate software functionality.Variety of Testing: Perform functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, and user acceptance testing to ensure software meets requirements.Defect Identification and Tracking: Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools to facilitate prompt resolution.Collaboration with Teams: Work closely with product managers, developers, and QA team members to clarify requirements and resolve issues.This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of testing methodologies, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.RequirementsHands-on Experience: 3–7 years of experience in manual testing within product-based or service-based environments.Additional ResponsibilitiesDevelop and Execute Test Plans: Utilize industry-leading testing frameworks to develop comprehensive test plans.Perform Various Types of Testing: Conduct thorough testing across different platforms and devices.Identify and Document Defects: Apply problem-solving skills to identify and document defects.Collaborate with Teams: Foster effective communication with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be proactive, and have a strong passion for delivering high-quality results.
