Undertake thorough feasibility studies to determine the most effective strengthening and repair methods.Create new bridge designs and strengthen existing ones, ensuring compliance with UK standards, relevant design guidelines and health & safety protocols.Conduct design and assessment checks (Cat II or Cat III) under the guidance of a Senior or Principal Engineer.Compile detailed drawings, specifications, reports and correspondence within given deadlines, verifying compliance with project objectives.Adhere to QA, document control, archiving and CDM guidelines on all work.Evaluate the correct implementation of document control and QA processes for issue and filing / archiving of all work carried out.Deliver work in accordance with WSP design standards, suggest improvements to these standards as necessary and ensure adherence to UK Design standards and WSP QA processes.Bridge Design, Eurocodes, UK CEng.
