About the Department
The IT department at TresVista is a critical function in running the business successfully. It is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's technology infrastructure and systems, including hardware, software, and networks. The IT department also works to ensure that technology is used effectively and efficiently to support the organization's operations and goals.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Listen to customers’ concerns, issues, and questions.
• Resolve customers’ concerns and answer customers’ questions to your best ability.
• Good communications skills, with customers, team, and stakeholders Customer-focused mindset.
• Maintain a positive attitude and calmly respond to customers’ complaints.
• Prepare product and customer reports by gathering data collected during customer interactions.
• Personable and attentive.
• Strong verbal & interpersonal skills
• Assisting with hardware, firewall, telecom, and software vendor evaluation, recommendation, and negotiations
• Mentoring and training team members on existing and new technologies
• Ensuring high availability and acceptable levels of performance of mission-critical host computer resources
• Developing procedures to maintain security and protect systems from unauthorized use, acts of nature, and user abuse
• Developing procedures, programs, and documentation for backup and restoration of host operating systems and host-based applications
• Handling the data center and computer host systems including hardware, software, and equipments.
Prerequisites
• Experience in Data Centre management including operations, expansions, maintenance
• Experience in infrastructure architecture design, data center planning and implementation, servers, and networks
• Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
• Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or related field.
• Experience in supporting applications and functions in the Azure Cloud Certification(s) related to the cloud environment preferred, such as AZ-400, AZ-303/304 and AZ-104.
• Any Experience in Working with a MSP/ Microsoft Azure Gold Partner / CSP Partner will be useful.
• Microsoft Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions).
• Experience with Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Azure Boards).
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
Technical Skills Required
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
o Design, implement, and manage Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as Terraform, Miro, Jira, Kubernetes, Docker, Chef/Puppet, GitHub, Jenkins, Zephyr Scale, AppDynamics/Nagios/Dynatrace, Terr grunt or CloudFormation
o Maintain and enhance existing IaC scripts to ensure scalability and performance. Develop Terraform templates to define and provision infrastructure resources in Azure, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
o Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, deployment, and monitoring
o Implement best practices for building, packaging, and deploying applications across different environments
• Maintain and Update Terraform Templates:
o Keep Terraform templates up to date with the latest Azure features and best practices, ensuring compliance with organizational standards
• Troubleshoot and Resolve Infrastructure Issues:
o Identify and resolve issues related to infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance
• Implement Security and Compliance Controls:
o Implement security and compliance controls in Terraform templates to ensure that Azure resources meet organizational security and regulatory requirements
• Cloud Platform Management:
o Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure
o Implement cost-effective solutions and ensure security and compliance standards are met
• Monitoring and Logging:
o Set up and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address issues
o Collaborate with the operations team to establish incident response procedures
o Monitor the performance of Azure resources provisioned through Terraform and optimize configurations for cost effectiveness and performance
• Automation and Scripting:
o Develop and maintain automation scripts to streamline repetitive tasks
o Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements
• Security and Compliance:
o Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
o Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments
• Documentation:
o Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations, processes, and procedures
o Ensure documentation is up-to-date, accessible, and serves as a valuable resource for the team
• Technical Leadership:
o Mentor and guide junior members of the DevOps team
o Provide technical guidance and support to development and operations teams on Terraform best practices and Azure infrastructure automation
• Stay current with industry trends and technologies and assess their relevance to our environment
Experience
3 - 4 years of relevant work experience (Minimum 2 years of people management experience), preferably in the financial services industry
Education
Any Engineering Graduate
