Senior Civil Design Specialist

As a civil design professional, you will play a vital role in assisting project engineers with the creation of site servicing plans, site grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, pre- and post-development drainage plans; calculations for stormwater management, functional servicing, and floodplain cut and fill analysis.Design drawings will be completed in accordance with local standards and guidelines, as well as project specifications.Preliminary and detailed design drawings will be prepared using AutoCAD Civil 3D, or other computer-assisted design/drafting equipment.Project drawings will be coordinated with the project engineer, and others.Requirements:The ideal candidate should have:A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.At least 3+ years of experience in civil engineering, preferably from a consulting engineering office environment.Proficient knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D, MS Word, Excel, and PDF viewer.Familiarity with various municipal & regional design and drafting standards and guidelines in Ontario, Canada.Excellent oral and written communication skills.Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and projects in a fast-paced turnaround environment.This role offers a unique opportunity to utilize your skills and experience in a challenging and dynamic work environment.
