This involves strategic oversight, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives, and leading senior project managers and cross-functional teams.This role is ideal for a highly experienced programme manager with deep domain expertise in software delivery for the pharmaceutical industry, particularly in areas such as pharmacovigilance, safety, and regulatory technology.Key Responsibilities:Programme Management: Define, lead, and manage the execution of complex, multi-workstream programmes for pharmaceutical clients.Alignment: Align programme objectives with business strategy and ensure all projects contribute to defined outcomes.Governance: Provide governance and direction across projects, managing dependencies, interproject risks, and overall programme-level planning and reporting.Stakeholder Engagement: Lead stakeholder engagement at all levels, ensuring transparent communication, change management, and alignment across business and technical teams.Team Leadership: Coordinate and oversee the work of multiple project managers, third-party contributors, and team members to ensure cohesion across deliverables.Scope Management: Maintain tight control of programme scope and oversee the evaluation and approval of change requests, ensuring they align with strategic objectives.Mentorship: Actively mentor, coach, and support the development of project managers within the team.Methodologies and Governance: Ensure a consistent approach to project and programme delivery by championing standardised methodologies, tools, and best practices.Monitoring and Improvement: Monitor budgets, timelines, resources, and KPIs across the programme, addressing variances or issues.Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all programme activities comply with industry regulations, including pharmacovigilance standards and data privacy laws.
