Job Title - Automation Test Architect
Experience – 16 to 19 years
Location- Pune/ Chennai/ Hyderabad

Job Summary

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Collaborate closely with the client head of quality to outline strategic di-rection, goals, and initiatives aligning with overall Quality Engineering (QE) objectives.
• Roadmap Development: Develop and establish a comprehensive QE roadmap to enhance testing practices throughout the enterprise
• Test Architecture Design: Design and implement scalable and efficient test architecture,
incorporating frameworks, tools, and methodologies to support testing across the organiza-tion.
• Collaboration with Platform Squads: Work collaboratively with various client platform squads to integrate quality engineers, ensuring a cohesive and integrated approach to software testing.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements within testing workflows and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Tool and Technology Evaluation: Evaluate testing tools and technologies, integrating them into the testing process to enhance capabilities and overall efficiency.
• Guidance and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to squads, ensuring they ac-quire the necessary testing skills, techniques, and knowledge for effective testing practices.
• Assist squads on implementing the TAF for in-sprint automation and automated regression testing
• Evangelize QE processes & value in an agile software environment by elevating visibility of testing where the entire squad weighs in on test strategies
• Have worked on RFP/Proposals in different domains with Automation as main focus
• Have extensive knowledge on GenAI, AI/ML. Capable enough to speak on these models with Test Automation as focus

Qualifications:
• At-least 14-16 years of experience as an enterprise automation architect or majorly being in the automation space similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• In-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Stakeholder management, strong leadership, and collaboration skills with the ability to work across diverse platform squads.
• Knowledge of working with technologies viz. Selenium, Python, JAVA, SQL, database test-ing, API testing, and load/performance testing
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable test architectures.
• Past experience developing, updating, and maintaining test automation frameworks
• Familiarity with emerging technologies in software testing.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to di-verse stakeholders.
• Proven track record in driving process improvements and implementing testing best practices.
