Tax Associate

Our esteemed organization seeks a highly qualified Tax Associate to join our esteemed team. This pivotal role demands exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, as you will be responsible for providing critical support to our U.S.-based financial operations.The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of tax and accounting principles, with the ability to interpret U.S. tax laws and apply them effectively to contractors. A strong background in preparing and reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returns, including 1065, 1120S, and 1120 forms, is essential.Key responsibilities include:Preparing and reviewing U.S. federal and state tax returnsAnalyzing percentage-of-completion (POC) and completed-contract methodsPerforming multi-state apportionment analysis and nexus determinationHandling depreciation schedules and Section 179/bonus depreciation related to heavy equipment and fixed assetsAssisting in preparation of K-1s, tax basis calculations, and reconciliation of book-to-tax differencesTo excel in this position, candidates must possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
