In this peaceful setting, the children enjoy the tranquillity necessary for their academic studies, music practice and performing arts activities.KSV provides education in academic subjects, Hindustani Classical Music, Bharatanatayam Dance and Drama. In addition, food, accommodation and healthcare are all provided free of cost. There are no fees at allThe origins of KSV were basic but clear: through the medium of traditional Indian music combined with regular schooling, the lives of disadvantaged children could be transformed. For many of these children no formal education was available, so the first step was to set up a favourable learning environment for them. Teaching and guidance provided by a team of dedicated professionals then gave these children the ability and confidence to stand on their own two feet, ensuring that in time they will become creative and resourceful citizens of the world.Role DescriptionThe Senior Accountant oversees all financial operations, including bookkeeping, budgeting, reporting, audits, and compliance with FCRA and NGO regulations. The role ensures high integrity, transparency, accuracy, and timely account submission, supports donor reporting, and assists the management in financial planning and strategic decision-making.Requirements- Degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field- Minimum of seven years of experience, preferably in the non-profit sector- Strong knowledge of Tally, Excel, budgets, reporting & compliance- Strong language skills in Kannada and English- Excellent leadership, mentoring and communication skillsResponsibilities- Ensure full compliance with statutory and NGO regulations (FCRA, 80G)- Prepare financial statements, donor reports, budgets, and utilisation certificates- Oversee daily accounting operations, payroll, and staff reimbursements- Coordinate annual audits and maintain complete financial documentation- Monitor organizational expenses and support financial planning and analysisFacilities- This is a full-time non-residential position located at KSV's campus- Competitive salary and benefits depending on experience- KSV is an equal-opportunity employer
