Senior Applied Scientist RoleThe Senior Applied Scientist will play a pivotal role in driving the development and implementation of machine learning systems that deliver significant value to our customers. This individual will own end-to-end ML pipelines, from data ingestion and feature engineering to model training and deployment.Key Responsibilities:Design and implement scalable data architectures, including event taxonomy, identity graphs, and data contracts.Build high-quality features for prediction models, leveraging tools like Feast and dbt.Develop reproducible training pipelines with experiment tracking, hyperparameter search, and evaluation.Package and deploy models using Docker, Vertex, or SageMaker, ensuring seamless integration with cloud services.Implement observability and monitoring, utilizing Great Expectations, dbt tests, and alerting mechanisms.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design measurement plans, communicate trade-offs, and drive incremental value.Requirements:7+ years of experience shipping DS/ML systems to production.Proficiency in Python, SQL, and a major cloud platform (GCP/AWS), with BigQuery/Snowflake and dbt expertise.Strong understanding of MLOps, orchestration (Airflow/Prefect), and streaming technologies (Pub/Sub/Kafka).Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to thrive in ambiguity.Benefits:Founding-team impact and meaningful equity opportunities.Chances to build the ML backbone of a category-defining product.Opportunities for growth and professional development.
