The Junior Design Engineer will be responsible for supporting design engineering projects, including the development and improvement of products. Daily tasks will involve creating and editing CAD models, assisting with mechanical and electrical engineering tasks, and collaborating with senior engineers to ensure the accuracy and feasibility of designs.QualificationsBasic knowledge of design engineering and product designKnowledge of 3D modeling of mechanical productsExperience in creating manufacturing drawingsGood understanding of manufacturing processes, limits, fits & tolerances, and GD&TExperience in engineering calculations and technical analysisPrior work in the automation industryExperience with jigs & fixtures, conveyor lines, packaging industry, material handling equipment, and robotic systemsKnowledge and experience in SPM (Special Purpose Machines) designCompetent in selection of standard and bought-out materialsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsGood presentation skills
