About this roleWe are seeking an experienced Cost Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our finance operations, you will be responsible for transitioning business unit-level costing activities to our centralized cost engineering function.Your primary focus will be on product costing activities performed within our SAP system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the process.You will establish processes for analysis of variances (price and factory) and provide valuable business insights to reduce discrepancies compared to established standards.Additionally, you will support inventory valuation activities, including calculation of capitalized variances and stock provisions.Liaising with technology teams is essential to resolve issues in processes or reports.Ad hoc analysis may be required, involving deep dives to identify issues, as well as validating dashboards and reports related to inventory, procurement, and factory performance.Key Responsibilities:Single point of contact for SAP product costing activitiesReview and validate master data components impacting product costingAnalyze procurement transactions and identify price variance causesReview exceptions and abnormal variances, liaising with markets for corrective actionDevelop reports providing insights into price and factory variancesRequirements:Certified/Qualified Accountant with Chartered accountant or Cost and Management Accountant certificationUniversity DegreeA minimum of eight years post-qualification work experience with a manufacturing organizationMinimum six years hands-on experience with SAP product costing and end-to-end process knowledgeKnowledge of SAP MM and PP modules, impact of non-financial information on costingThorough understanding of SAP CO module and process flow for product costing and error fixingAnalysis of variances experienceEffective communication skills with stakeholdersAbility to work independently or within a team environment with multiple prioritiesAbout Us:We offer a collaborative and dynamic work environment where every team member can thrive.
