Job Summary
Pinnacle Group is seeking a highly skilled Tax Analyst to join our team in Chennai, India. The Tax Analyst will focus on US sales and use tax filings, support quarterly tax estimates, and manage data compilation processes. This role requires strong Excel skills and experience with apportionment, ensuring accurate and timely tax reporting.
Responsibilities
- Sales and Use Tax Filings: Manage the preparation and filing of US sales and use tax returns on a monthly basis.
- Quarterly Tax Estimates: Support the preparation of US Federal quarterly tax estimates by compiling and summarizing data for external tax providers.
- Apportionment: Manage apportionment processes as required.
- Data Compilation: Organize and analyze large sets of data in Excel for tax reporting purposes.
- Collaboration: Work with the tax team to ensure accurate and timely submissions to tax authorities.
- Canadian Tax Support: Assist with filing QST returns with Canadian agencies when necessary.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in US Sales and Use Tax Filings.
- Familiarity with US Federal quarterly tax estimates and apportionment processes.
- Advanced Excel skills for data mining and organization.
- Knowledge of Canadian tax filings is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively and meet deadlines.
