Job Title: Regulatory Compliance SpecialistWe are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role will involve preparing regulatory-compliant Safety Data Sheet (SDS) documents for international customers.This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Key Responsibilities:Author regulatory compliant SDS/Labels for external customers across multiple countries.Conduct research and apply techniques to reconcile discrepancies in reference sources.Evaluate toxicological, environmental, chemical, and physical properties to determine hazards of substances and chemical products.Perform quality control and regulatory compliance reviews of SDS/Labels prepared by others team members.Assist in establishing the details of SDS/Labels content to be delivered contractually.Provide related services such as regulatory training, performing compliance reviews, writing procedures, and providing consultation services.Requirements:University degree in Science (Chemistry, Biology, Toxicology, Environment, Health & Safety, Industrial Hygiene) or Chemical Engineering. Masters preferred.Knowledge of at least five of the following: REACH, GHS, OSHA, WHMIS, IATA, IMDG, ADR, ADNR, TDG, DOT, ADG, EPA, CEPA, TSCA, FDA, PCPA, CCCR, CPSC. Other relevant country regulations will be considered.Work experience from 3 to 5 years, or more.Experience in sciences: Biology/Chemistry applications, Health/Safety/Environmental regulations and/or toxicology.Experience in product stewardship or regulatory affairs.Experiences as a user of EH&S related software.Consulting experience.Self-starting/motivated.Attentive to detail.Ability to work on multiple assignments.Strong regulatory analytical skills and troubleshooting skills.Reliable and take pride in work.Excellent team worker.Good verbal communication skills.Good written skills for reporting, writing procedures and providing regulatory information.Strong work ethic and professionalism.Committed to occasionally working extra hours to meet critical deliverable dates.Benefits:Sphera is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
