JOB PURPOSE The Salesforce QA Engineer is responsible for ensuring the quality of Salesforce applications by designing and implementing test strategies, creating, and executing test cases, and identifying and reporting defects. The Salesforce QA Engineer works closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide feedback on the quality of the software. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Design and implement test strategies, test plans, and test cases for Salesforce applications. Execute manual and automated tests and analyze test results to identify defects and report them using Assemble. Create and maintain test data, environments, and test scripts. Perform regression testing to ensure that new changes do not negatively impact existing functionality. Document and report test results, including identifying root causes of defects and proposing solutions. Have functional knowledge on Salesforce CRM Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups. Work with cross-functional teams to ensure that Salesforce applications are delivered on time, with high quality, and meet customer expectations. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Develop skills and acquire additional knowledge appropriate to the position on an ongoing basis Keep abreast with the latest updates that may be significant to the area of work Continuously improve the quality assurance process by identifying and implementing new tools and techniques. JOB REQUIREMENTS As a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Computer related field such as Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent Salesforce certification such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Advanced Administrator is a plus. 3- 5 years Salesforce product knowledge and experience cloud and other Salesforce.com standard features. Minimum 2 years of QA testing experience on Salesforce Working knowledge on LWC (Lightning Web Components), Events, Aura, Pub Sub Model, - Salesforce development Life Cycle. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Jenkins, Provar and Git.
