Quality Assurance Specialist Job DescriptionThe Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for ensuring the quality of products by leading and managing the QC team activities.Develop, implement, and monitor quality policies, procedures, and documentation systems to maintain compliance with industry standards.Conduct regular inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods to identify deviations and non-conformities.Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to address quality issues and improve product reliability.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure seamless operations.Maintain accurate records of QC processes, test reports, and ensure traceability throughout the supply chain.Train and mentor junior QC staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of quality standards.Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry best practices to ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, HACCP, or other relevant quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Quality Policy Development: Develop and implement effective quality policies and procedures that align with company objectives.Inspection and Testing: Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify quality issues and ensure compliance with industry standards.CAPA Implementation: Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality issues and improve product reliability.Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and ensure seamless operations.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of QC processes, test reports, and ensure traceability throughout the supply chain.Training and Development: Train and mentor junior QC staff to enhance their technical skills and knowledge of quality standards.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Quality Assurance, Engineering, or Science.Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality assurance role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.Proven track record of improving quality metrics and reducing defects.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.Knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and regulatory requirements, such as FDA and EU regulations.Benefits:Competitive Salary: A competitive salary package that reflects your experience and qualifications.Opportunities for Growth: Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the company.Collaborative Work Environment: A collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages open communication and teamwork.Professional Development: Access to training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
