Job SummaryThe Structural Engineer plays a pivotal role in designing, analyzing, and overseeing structural elements within food and beverage manufacturing facilities. This encompasses buildings, foundations, platforms, and support systems for equipment and utilities, ensuring structural integrity, safety, and compliance with industry standards and local regulations.Key responsibilities include:Designing and reviewing structural components for new facilities, expansions, and equipment installations.Performing structural analysis and load calculations for buildings, mezzanines, pipe racks, and utility supports.Preparing and validating construction drawings, specifications, and BOQs in coordination with civil and architectural teams.Ensuring compliance with local building codes, food industry standards, and safety regulations.Conducting site inspections to monitor construction quality and adherence to design specifications.Collaborating with project managers, equipment vendors, and contractors during planning and execution phases.Supporting feasibility studies, cost estimation, and risk assessments for structural scopes.Maintaining documentation for audits, approvals, and internal governance.Required Skills and QualificationsTo excel in this role, you should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5-10 years of experience in structural design and construction.
