About the Role:
Manage KCIRI projects and product development, end to end from both project management and technical perspective. This involves planning, resource management, execution, monitoring, tracking and implementation within the target budget & timeline, and ensuring that all in-scope & quality requirements are met.
Job Role
- To actively manage Technology and Engineering domain driven projects predominantly in Design & Development that involves planning, resource management, execution, monitoring, tracking and implementation while ensuring that all Customer requirements are met, and goals are achieved within the target timeline and budget.
- To prepare Technical Proposals in discussion with prospective customers for understanding the requirements, preparation of scope of work & methodology and estimating resource requirements, cost & schedule for the projects.
- Periodically monitor & report progress and issues to the management and customers using appropriate professional tools.
Major Responsibilities:
- Responsible for successful completion of all projects and products development within the target budget and date.
- Plan and proactively engage in the development of new products.
- Efficient project planning, execution, monitoring, tracking and implementation using the appropriate project management tools and processes.
- Understand and consolidate the project scope & requirements for preparing Techno-Commercial Proposal and actively interact with customers for winning the project.
- Provide guidance and mentor the team on technical aspects to plan, execute, test and implement the project in line with customer expectations
- Provide support & solutions to remove all technical roadblocks that might impact the project
- Building, managing and retaining relationships with existing clients & Industrial partners
- Implement and ensure all processes relevant to various phases of the project.
- Preparing detailed and quality technical reports for reviews & submission to clients.
- Monitor and control the project progress by periodic reviews, coordinate between stake holders and resolve issues and problems.
- Preparing project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information & actions.
- Facilitate and participate in publishing technical publications by the project team
Educational Qualification:
Engineering Graduate in Mechanical / Electrical Stream preferably with Post Graduation.
Experience & Skills:
- Min 10 years of technical experience in Engineering Services and Product Design & Development
- Experience in Project Management and Process implementation
- Team management and Stakeholder management skills
- Time management & Planning skills
- Problem-solving and multi-tasking with readiness to put in extra efforts when necessary
- Exposure to Project Management tools
- Excellent communication & analytical skills
- Good level of proficiency in MS Office products
- Self-motivated and ability to motivate the team
