Staff Accountant

Onsite - Fulltime - PST hours support (9:30PM to 6:30AM IST)


***3x Openings New Process Starting January 2025 ***


Should be comfortable travelling to office everyday on own vehicle/Rapido/Uber or shift to near walkable distance PGs/Hostel/Flatmates on own.


Prepare, examine, and analyze financial statements and reports in compliance with US GAAP.

Handle month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

Reconcile general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts payable/receivable, and fixed assets.

Assist with tax preparation and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Collaborate with auditors to prepare for annual audits and respond to any audit queries.

Maintain financial records and ensure proper documentation and filing for easy retrieval.

Process accounts payable/receivable and ensure that payments and receipts are recorded accurately.

Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.

Provide accounting support for various departments and internal teams, helping to improve financial processes.

Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and contribute to the development of new accounting procedures.

 

Required:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required).

CPA designation (or CPA candidate) strongly preferred.

3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a US-based company.

Strong knowledge of US GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting.

Proficiency in Quick Books (QB) Online and advanced MS Excel skills.

Experience with month-end close processes and financial reconciliation.

Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with both internal and external US based stakeholders.
