Job title: Operational Support ManagerPurpose of the role:The role is involved in managing the Commercial Banking and Global Market businesses, without compromising on data integrity standards.Minimizing risk through effective management of cost and resources.Ensure process and procedures are continually reviewed, improved and changes are communicated for effective implementation, which are measured through reduced costs and improved revenuePost-Approval Activities: Creation of Lending Documentation, Limit Setup, Fund Disbursement, Loan Rollovers, and Covenant Monitoring.Collateral Management: Input, Registration, Maintenance, Renewal, Release and Borrow in Custody validation. Credit Administration: Reconciliation, Repayment, Pricing, Fee Setup, and Collection.Ensure that internal audits and measures are undertaken regularly and reviewed in order to achieve / exceed agreed Process and Global Operating Metrics.Set high standards of staff motivation and leadership by managing good work environment leading to a highly committed and productive team. Develop staff to achieve their potential. Management of the workflow to ensure efficient operations of the unitEffectively manage migration / remigration / projects, interacting with training / business and project teamsIn this role, you will:Need to constantly upgrade on credit related knowledge and policies on an ongoing basis.Follow the procedure and process with accuracy. Meet the quality targets set by the process.Understand customer requirement and requests.Work with collaboration with the wider team.Participate in process improvements.Ensuring preparation of Legal Documents informing the customers of the availed products and services in line with the proposed / approved Credit Applications.Achieve and exceed relevant process targets in line with business objectivesTo be successful you will:MBA Finance / B.Com / M.ComExperience in Collateral ManagermentSound Knowledge of Financial Accounting ConceptsAbility to speak and understand English fluently as the process requires to interact with customers over a phone. Ability to write good quality business letters, emails and reports. Good conversational skills to engage customer.Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.Ability to understand and interpret numeric data.Minimum, basic computer knowledge.Flexibility to work in Night Shift.Ability to build rapport with and relate to a wide range of people.Ability to maintain focus while working with voluminous data.What additional skills will be good to haveGood understanding of the Commercial/Corporate Credit Lending CycleExcellent communication skills (E)Excellent prioritization, planning and organization skills (E)Ability to learn very quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately (E)Ability to derive insight from large amounts of data from diverse sources.
