Job Title: Language Expert – ArabicLocation: RemoteEmployment Type: Contract / Project-BasedOrganization: Sound of the Sun (SOTS)Role OverviewSound of the Sun is hiring an Arabic Language Expert to support upcoming digital learning and content projects. The role requires excellent command over Arabic and English, with the ability to review, refine, and validate written and audio content for linguistic, cultural, and contextual accuracy.You will work closely with instructional designers, multimedia teams, and subject specialists to ensure high-quality language output across learning materials.Key ResponsibilitiesReview and refine content written in Arabic to ensure clarity, accuracy, and cultural appropriatenessValidate translations between English and Arabic for meaning, terminology, tone, and consistencyEnsure the correct use of industry-specific vocabulary, especially in finance, banking, economics, and general educational contentReview scripts, captions, on-screen text, voiceover copy, and other learning contentWork with the content and design teams to provide linguistic guidance during developmentIdentify errors, inconsistencies, and areas requiring revisionProvide feedback to improve readability, flow, and learner comprehensionEnsure alignment with the required language quality standardsRequired QualificationsNative or near-native proficiency in Arabic (reading, writing, and speaking)Strong command over EnglishExperience working as a language expert, translator, reviewer, or linguistFamiliarity with educational, academic, or professional content reviewAbility to work with tight timelines and structured review cyclesExcellent attention to detail and strong written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience reviewing or translating content related to Islamic Finance, Banking, or EconomicsExperience with voiceover scripts or multimedia-based contentUnderstanding of localization and dual-language content developmentPrevious work with learning materials, training content, or digital media
