Job Description

Develop and execute a comprehensive Bancassurance strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives, focusing on revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition. Lead and manage the Bancassurance team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales targets and KPIs. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at the small finance bank, including senior management, branch managers, and frontline staff, to drive Bancassurance sales and enhance customer experience. Collaborate with internal teams, such as product development, marketing, and underwriting, to develop and launch Bancassurance products that meet the needs of the small finance bank's customer base. Monitor and analyse market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust the Bancassurance strategy accordingly. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures related to Bancassurance sales and operations. Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on Bancassurance performance, including sales figures, market share, and profitability, highlighting key achievements and challenges. Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Bancassurance team and across the organization to enhance operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement.

The Successful Applicant

Master in Business Administration. Overall 15+ and minimum of 10 years of experience in Bancassurance, with a proven track record of driving business growth and managing a high-performing team. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire & motivate the team to achieve goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Strategic thinker with a data-driven approach to decision-making, able to analyse complex information and develop actionable insights. In-depth knowledge of Bancassurance products, distribution channels, and regulatory requirements in the insurance industry.
