Software Engineer RoleWe are seeking a seasoned software engineer with expertise in building and scaling ecommerce platforms and marketplaces.Key Responsibilities:Analyze business requirements for ecommerce and marketplace platforms, translating them into scalable technical solutions.Design and implement features that support marketplace scalability, including multi-vendor capabilities, inventory management, and dynamic pricing models.Build and integrate APIs for third-party services such as payment gateways, logistics providers, marketing tools, and seller management systems.Ensure high performance and availability of marketplace systems, optimizing page load times, search functionality, and transaction processes.Architect solutions to handle growing marketplace traffic, vendor onboarding, and product catalog expansion.Work with large data sets, ensuring effective integration and processing of customer, vendor, and product data.Collaborate with UX/UI teams to optimize customer and vendor journeys, including advanced search, personalization, and checkout flows.Implement secure payment mechanisms and ensure compliance with regulations (e.g., GDPR, PCI-DSS).Leverage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) to deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable ecommerce and marketplace systems.Guide junior engineers and contribute to team development by sharing best practices and expertise.Required Skills and Qualifications:Expertise in software engineering, ecommerce platform architecture, and marketplace scalability.Strong understanding of API design, integration, and security.Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization, and orchestration.Experience with agile development methodologies, version control systems, and collaboration tools.Ability to work with large data sets, database management systems, and data analytics tools.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and success of our ecommerce platform.
