Lead PLM Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:Product Lifecycle Management (PLM):- Expertise in PLM processes and methodologies.- Functional expertise in New Product Introduction (NPI), product engineering & Bill of Materials (BOM) management, product development, product commercialization, and quality management.- Provide business process consulting services to clients and help implement PLM solutions tailored to their business needs.- Understand business requirements and assist clients in business process standardization by implementing industry best practices.- Expert in Windchill PLM technical and function flow.Project Change Management:- Coordinate project change management activities, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication among stakeholders.- Manage the development effort and serve as a single point of contact between the business and technical teams.User and Access Management:- Oversee user management, including user provisioning, de-provisioning, and access control.- Ensure compliance with security policies and standards for user access.Technical Expertise:- Experience in PLM technologies- PTC Windchill.- Provide technical support and training to users, ensuring effective utilization of PLM systems.Business Analysis:- Prior BA/consulting experience in the PLM space is a must.- Conduct detailed business analysis to identify opportunities for process improvements.- Translate business requirements into functional specifications for PLM solutions.Communication and Collaboration:- Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, stakeholders, and technical teams.- Strong project management skills to ensure timely and successful delivery of PLM solutions.Additional Responsibilities:- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in the PLM domain.- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance the PLM system's functionality and efficiency.- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members as needed.Preferred Qualifications:- BTech/BE with an MBA is preferable.- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.- Certification in relevant PLM technologies is a plus.
