Job Title: Stray Light Optics SpecialistWe are seeking a skilled Stray Light Optics Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing optical design, export to SPEOS, and performing stray light analysis for complex optical and illumination systems.This role involves generating new optical system designs as per client requirements and optimizing existing ones using Zemax and SPEOS tools.The successful candidate will also be responsible for identifying ghost images, scattering, reflections, and diffraction effects in optical designs and proposing mitigation strategies using baffles, coatings, surface finishes, apertures, filters.We offer the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and collaborate with senior optical engineers to apply advanced stray light mitigation strategies.Key Responsibilities:Building, validating, and optimizing optical models for lens systems, surfaces, optimization, and tolerancing in Zemax software.Performing stray light analysis for imaging, illumination, and optical sensor systems using SPEOS.Developing and validating using SPEOS GPU, material library models for materials and coatings.Using these results to propose mitigation strategies (baffles, coatings, surface finishes, apertures, filters).Conducting trade-off studies with and without baffles between CPU and GPIJ.Generating clear technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and client reviews.Staying updated with the latest methodologies and tool capabilities in stray light modeling/simulations.Collaborating with senior optical engineers to integrate findings into product design.
