Designing Scalable SystemsAs a lead data engineer, you will be responsible for designing and building distributed systems that are fault-tolerant and maintainable.You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of new data pipelines, services, and systems.Technical LeadershipProvide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.Lead the technical design of new data platforms and solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities include:Designing, building, deploying, and owning complete data platforms and solutions.Leading the technical design of new data pipelines, services, and systems.Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business requirements.Working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.Requirements7+ years of experience in software development with a strong foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and data platforms.Expertise in big data technologies such as Apache Spark and real-time streaming technologies like Apache Kafka.Strong programming skills in Python, Java, C++, SQL etc.Advanced knowledge of a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, GCP) and its ecosystem of data services.Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.Strong understanding of advanced data modeling techniques and modern data warehouses.In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills as a technical leader.We are looking for someone who is passionate about designing and building scalable systems and has a strong background in data engineering.If you are interested in this position, please submit your application.
