At Mave Health, we are on a mission to build human-centric products for mental wellness, using science and technology. Mental health crisis is an inevitable pandemic coming our way and we realized this once we saw people around us, our friends and family, getting affected. Searching for effective solutions turned out to be a pretty hopeless pursuit.


By combining innovative therapies, research-based approaches, and a deeply empathetic understanding of individuals, we are radically transforming the way mental health care is perceived and delivered.


Minimum experience required

2-3 Years


Responsibilities

  • Develop the Mave Health app using React Native and Expo.
  • Collaborate with the design team to implement pixel-perfect, user-friendly interfaces.
  • Work with the backend team to integrate APIs and ensure app functionality.
  • Optimize app performance for smooth and seamless user experiences.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in mobile development and incorporate best practices.


Qualifications

  • Proven experience in React Native development, including published apps for both Android and iOS.
  • Experience with Expo, Expo plugins, and Expo prebuild workflows.
  • Solid understanding of React and JavaScript fundamentals, including how they work under the hood.
  • Strong skills in turning design prototypes into functional, visually appealing UI.
  • Solid understanding of mobile app development best practices and performance optimizations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Good to have:

  • Experience implementing push notifications on both Android and iOS platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with native development using Java/Kotlin or Swift/Objective-C.
  • Familiarity with scheduling features such as reminders and event notifications.
  • Hands-on experience building features for real-time chat or messaging.
  • Knowledge of integrating video call functionality using WebRTC or third-party SDKs.
  • Have worked on any backend framework.
