Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Automation Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in QA automation, with a strong focus on Java, Selenium, and SQL. You will be instrumental in enhancing our automation framework and ensuring the highest quality of our software products.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test scripts using Java and Selenium.
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to gather requirements and create detailed test plans.
  • Execute automated tests, analyze outcomes, and report defects efficiently.
  • Utilize SQL for backend validation and data verification.
  • Enhance and optimize existing automation frameworks for improved performance and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices in automation and testing.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers on automation testing techniques and tools.
  • Stay updated with the latest testing tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the development of a CI/CD pipeline to streamline testing processes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
  • Strong expertise in automation testing tools, particularly Selenium WebDriver.
  • Proficient in Java programming and familiar with Java testing frameworks (e.g., TestNG, JUnit).
  • Solid understanding of SQL for database testing and validation.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
  • Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB, CSTE) is a plus.
  • Understanding of cloud testing strategies and tools.
