At LTX- LaunchTrax we build Next Gen Mission Systems for defense and aerospace customers. We work on customer applications in the field of mission planning, terrain visualisation and decision support systems and use a variety of technologies in 3D Geospatial, Image Processing, Extended Reality and various MIL standards to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers.

Every single mission from Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) SHAR, Sriharikota and India's Missile Test Range, Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur in India uses software developed by Engineers at LaunchTrax for better mission readiness.

The AV/IT engineer for this role will be part of the AxIS department. We harness XR technology to deliver comprehensive solutions tailored for aerospace and industrial applications.


At AxIS our offerings include:


Pilot Training Simulations: We create realistic training environments that simulate various flight scenarios, allowing pilots to hone their skills in a safe, controlled setting. Our XR simulations enhance decision-making abilities and reduce training costs.

Aircraft Design and Prototyping: Our XR tools enable engineers and designers to visualize and manipulate 3D models of aircraft, facilitating collaboration and streamlining the design process. This accelerates development times and enhances product quality.

Maintenance and Repair Training: We provide immersive training modules for technicians, allowing them to practice maintenance and repair procedures in a virtual environment. This hands-on approach improves retention and reduces the risk of errors.

Safety and Emergency Response Drills: Our VR solutions simulate emergency scenarios, equipping crews with the skills and confidence to respond effectively to critical situations, thereby enhancing safety in the aerospace sector.


Work Experience: 3 years or more

Location: On-site at Bangalore.

Required to travel to project sites across the country.


Key Responsibilities:

·      On-site AV installation

·      Project management for all our projects and managing the company’s IT infrastructure for software development efforts.

·      Manage AV/IT hardware setup and OS configuration for all projects

·      Setup and install projection systems/ display panels with accessories on-site

·      Audio programming and speaker connectivity with amplifiers

·      Video wall controller setup and connectivity

·      Preparation of delivery challan and coordinating with customer for material entry for AV/IT installation

·      Manage on-site sub-contractors who could be handling non-IT related installation work

·      Updating and ensuring LaunchTrax IT infrastructure is updated with latest OS/ software patches ⁃ Knowledge of multi-projector installations and edge blending is a bonus


Key Expectations:

·      Barco Certification with 2+ years of experience working with Barco and similar AV hardware.

·      The Engineer is expected to have hands on experience with 3D projectors (preferably Barco), Video wall controllers, audio speakers, amplifiers, control systems, high-end workstations, various display protocols, cabling connectors, cable dressing and adaptors, Networking and switching equipment.

·      Familiarity with 4K signal processing through HDMI, DP cables
