Data Engineer (Freelance)At ThreatXIntel, we are seeking a skilled Freelance Data Engineer with expertise in Apache NiFi and the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) ecosystem. The ideal candidate will design and implement real-time data ingestion pipelines using Apache NiFi for both structured and unstructured datasets, integrate ingestion and processing pipelines with the GCP ecosystem, ensure low-latency and high-throughput data movement across ingestion, processing, and storage layers, develop and optimize SQL queries for BigQuery and relational databases, build Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and developing custom NiFi processors, and implement data quality checks, validation rules, deduplication, late-arriving data handling, and robust error-handling frameworks.Key Responsibilities* Design and implement scalable data ingestion solutions leveraging Apache NiFi and GCP services such as BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, and Composer.* Develop and optimize SQL queries for BigQuery and relational databases.* Build Python scripts for data transformation, automation, and developing custom NiFi processors.* Implement data quality checks, validation rules, deduplication, late-arriving data handling, and robust error-handling frameworks.* Integrate ingestion and processing pipelines with the GCP ecosystem.* Ensure low-latency and high-throughput data movement across ingestion, processing, and storage layers.* Develop expertise in key GCP services including Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow / Apache Beam, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Composer / Airflow, and advanced SQL skills.Required Skills & Qualifications* Strong hands-on experience with Apache NiFi.* Deep knowledge of key GCP services, including Pub/Sub, BigQuery, Dataflow / Apache Beam, Dataproc, Cloud Storage, Composer / Airflow, and advanced SQL skills.* Proficiency in Python.* Strong understanding of real-time streaming concepts.* Knowledge of data architecture principles.
