Job Title: Senior Accounting ManagerDescription:The role of the Senior Accounting Manager is a vital one in ensuring accurate financial reporting and maintaining fiscal discipline.Responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day accounting activities, such as accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries, as well as preparing and analyzing monthly and quarterly financial statements.A key responsibility will be to ensure the timely and accurate disbursement of funds for construction activities through the coordination and facilitation of the construction draw process.Additionally, the Senior Accounting Manager will be responsible for managing the yearly audit and tax compliance process, establishing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard company assets, and providing management with information vital to the decision-making process.They will oversee the use of Yardi, the Company's Property and Accounting software, and prepare project profitability reports and percentage of completion method of accounting.A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in the real estate/construction industry, with a CA/CPA certification, is required for this position.Key skills and qualifications include being highly organized, having strong attention to detail and quality of deliverables, excellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skills, and superior ability to track and meet deadlines.Required Skills and Qualifications:CA/CPA certificationMinimum 8-10 years of experience in real estate/construction industryHighly organized with strong attention to detailExcellent writing, communication, and interpersonal skillsSuperior ability to track and meet deadlinesBenefits:This position offers opportunities for growth and development within the company, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.Other Opportunities:The ideal candidate will have a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on the organization.
