We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join our team.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing dimensional data models, with experience in Power BI implementations.They will work closely with stakeholders to understand complex financial concepts and translate them into scalable, performant data models.Key Responsibilities:Design and develop dimensional data models to support financial reporting and analytics.Build and maintain robust data pipelines using SQL, Python, and dbt.Work with Microsoft Fabric OneLake and related technologies.Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand financial concepts and translate them into technical solutions.Ensure data quality, consistency, and performance across the warehouse.Operate with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment.Contribute to architectural decisions and best practices for data warehousing.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proven experience in data warehousing and dimensional modelling, ideally within financial services.Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and PowerBI.Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Databricks, and/or Microsoft Fabric, or equivalent analytics technologies.Ability to work independently and take ownership of complex problems.Strong understanding of financial concepts and how they translate into data models.Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about data engineering and wants to make a significant impact on our business.If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional who is looking for a new challenge, please apply for this exciting role.
