We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant with expertise in Spanish to join our team. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.Key responsibilities include:Preparation of monthly management accounts, including Profit & Loss (P&L) and Balance Sheet statements for multiple properties.Collaboration with Finance Managers and Operations teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial statements.Analysis of financial results and variances, providing detailed explanations and addressing queries to enhance business understanding.Communication with cross-functional teams to clarify discrepancies and improve financial reporting processes.Support the financial management of a portfolio of properties, including a new fund with four properties and a Spanish property.Work closely with local teams to ensure that all financial and operational aspects are accurately reflected in the financial accounts.Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, preparing and reviewing VAT returns for the properties.The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in property or real estate accounting. Intermediate Spanish proficiency (reading and writing) is essential, especially for the Spanish property.This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
