Database Administration ExpertWe are seeking an experienced database administration professional to lead our team and design implement and maintain database systems ensuring reliability security and optimal performance.About the RoleThe ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relational and NoSQL database systems with expertise in database management systems including MySQL PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.They will have strong SQL and query tuning skills experience with database optimization techniques and a solid grasp of data security and privacy best practices.Able to collaborate with data engineers data scientists and software developers to integrate database solutions with data pipelines analytics platforms and software applications.The selected candidate will be responsible for monitoring database systems for performance issues proactively identifying and resolving problems to minimize downtime and maintain system reliability.Must possess excellent problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills outstanding communication and leadership abilities.Able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly through various channels.Must stay current on emerging database technologies trends and best practices identifying opportunities for their application within the data infrastructure.RequirementsBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.8-10 years of experience in database administration roles with a strong understanding of database concepts and principles.Expert knowledge of database management systems including MySQL PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server.Strong SQL and query tuning skills experience with database optimization techniques.Strong understanding of data security and privacy best practices and regulations including GDPR and CCPA.Familiarity with cloud-based database services such as AWS RDS or Azure SQL Database.Familiarity with vector databases and embedding workflows semantic search and hybrid search strategies.Excellent problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills.Outstanding communication and leadership abilities.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly through various channels.This role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled database administrator to make a meaningful impact on our organization's success.As a valued member of our team you will have the chance to work on exciting projects develop your skills and contribute to the growth and development of our company.We are committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment that fosters collaboration creativity and innovation.
