Visual DirectorThe Visual Director is a key member of the game development team, responsible for overseeing the visual elements of the game. This role involves managing and inspiring a team of artists to create high-quality visual content.Key Responsibilities:Define and own the visual vision, style guides, and visual identity for the game(s).Create concept art, mood boards, key frames, style frames, and reference guides to communicate direction.Oversee all visual production pipelines, scheduling, and task distribution to ensure timely delivery.Collaborate with game designers, engineers, and product managers to align visual content with mechanics, UX, monetization, and performance goals.Review and approve visual assets (character models, environments, props, animations, UI, effects) to maintain quality, consistency, and technical feasibility.Optimize visual assets for mobile performance (poly count, draw calls, texture resolution, LODs).Drive innovation in visual techniques, shaders, workflows, effects, and rendering styles.Maintain awareness of industry trends, competitor visuals, and R&D to bring fresh ideas into the game.Represent the visual team in cross-functional leadership meetings and external presentations.Requirements:Expertise in 2D and 3D art creation, including concept art, modeling, texturing, and animation.Strong understanding of game engines, including Unity or Unreal Engine.Experience leading and mentoring a team of artists.Excellent communication and project management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Benefits:This role offers a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile game project, collaborating with a talented team of developers and artists.
