Technical Project Manager for Data EngineeringThe ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT, and analytics workflows, as well as excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.This role requires the ability to lead cross-functional teams to execute data platform, pipeline, and analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.Responsibilities:Plan, execute, and deliver technical projects on time, within scope, and budget.Develop detailed project plans, schedules, resource allocations, and risk mitigation strategies.Collaborate with engineering, product, QA, and operations teams to define project requirements and success metrics.Familiarity with cloud data platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, Snowflake, Databricks).Lead daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.Track project progress using tools like Jira, Confluence, and report status to stakeholders.Proactively identify and resolve project blockers and dependencies.Ensure all technical documentation is current and aligned with project goals.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in project management within a technical environment.Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or Waterfall).Proficient with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Microsoft Project).
