Job Title: Monitoring and Compliance SpecialistAbout the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Monitoring and Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all project activities are carried out in accordance with established guidelines and regulations.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation of annual work plans and budgets for each component;Provide support in the procurement of services and materials;Verify expenditures reported by DIUs and consolidate them in the prescribed format;Foster collaboration with DIUs to ensure timely submission of SOPs and SOEs along with supporting documents;Prepare information, reports, and roadmaps as directed by the Project Management Unit;Maintain accounts using computerized accounting systems;Develop training programs for DIU staff on project accounting and expenditure management;Ensure accurate record-keeping of assets procured under the project;Coordinate with auditors during audits and respond to audit queries;Prepare MIS reports and present financial and activity progress at review meetings.RequirementsMaster's degree in Social Science or equivalent qualification;At least 7 years of experience in capacity building and knowledge of organizations;Excellent interpersonal skills, group facilitation skills, and interviewing skills.BenefitsThis role offers a unique opportunity to work on a high-profile project, developing your skills and expertise in monitoring and compliance.
