Job Title: Shift Manager – Solar & Wind
Department: Asset Management
Location: Gurgaon, Head Office
Reports To: CMS Lead
Job Overview:
The Renewable Energy professional to plan the shift schedules of shift operators. Reporting to the CMS Lead at head office, the successful candidate will be responsible for Solar farm and wind farm remote operation and Performance Monitoring through Centralised Monitoring System (CMS)
Roles and Responsibilities: Solar
- Lead shift Engineers for Solar farm remote operation and Performance Monitoring through Centralised Monitoring System (CMS)
- Plan the shift schedules of shift operators
- Validation of Daily Generation Reports and ensure for sharing DGR to management each day
- Monitor solar farm performance at the first level and manage feedback for performance improvement.
- Monitor SCADA data communication and information to Field engineers in case of Data interruptions
- Ensure Digital Record keeping of maintenance checklist, PM records, inspection records and caliberation records of each solar farms through CMS portal
- Oversee the ticketing/flagging system for performance improvement of solar farms and electrical infrastructure through the CMS portal.
- Issue and close tickets on faults, maintaining records of corrective activities.
- Co-ordinate with CMS software partner for new developments and Site acceptance test for new sites
- Co-ordinate all the monitoring activities related to Forecasting and Scheduling
Desired Qualification and requirements:
- BE Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical with 5-6 Years of exp. in Solar farm O&M sector Or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Mechanical with 7-8 Yrs. Of exp. In Solar farm O&M.
- Knowledge of KPIs calculations and data communication of Solar farms
- Should have good knowledge of MS-excel, MS-Power point and other BI tools
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop solutions and conduct independent analysis, as well as collaborate with others.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and execute multipletasks
- Desire to expand skill set and learn new data analysis tools
Roles and Responsibilities: Wind
