Model Risk Management Group (MRMG) within Global Risk Banking and Compliance Group, is responsible for the independent risk management of all American Express (AXP) models.
*We're Hiring: Model Risk Manager - People Leader Role**
Are you an experienced professional in model validation or model risk management, looking for your next leadership challenge? American Express is seeking a **Model Risk Manager** to lead and shape our growing team.
**Preferred Qualifications: **
- Experience in a similar 2nd line role at a large US bank.
- Proven expertise in model validation, model risk management, or a closely related field.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
-4+ years' experience in analytics or big data workstreams
-Education - MBA, Master’s Degree in Economics, Statistics or Related Fields from Top Tier Institute
**Key Responsibilities: **
- Ensure robust model validation processes and regulatory compliance.
- Lead a dynamic team to manage and mitigate model risk across our organization.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and stakeholders to drive Model risk strategy.
