**Job Title:** Operations Lead - Textile SourcingRole Overview:We seek a highly skilled Operations Lead to manage the procurement, quality control, and logistics of textile fibres and yarns.The successful candidate will oversee the entire supply chain process, ensuring timely deliveries, high-quality materials, and efficient operations.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Management: Oversee the intake, storage, and dispatch of textile fibres and yarns, including regular stock checks and reconciliation.Quality Control & Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials to ensure they meet our quality standards, checking for defects, consistency in colour, and adherence to specified fibre and yarn types.Logistics & Shipping: Prepare and package orders for shipment, ensuring proper labelling and documentation, and coordinate with logistics partners to schedule pickups and track deliveries.Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all transactions, including receipts, shipments, and quality reports, generating regular reports on inventory levels, material usage, and operational performance.Warehouse Operations: Assist with general warehouse duties, including organizing storage spaces, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and operating light machinery such as forklifts (certification may be required).Supplier & Customer Communication: Liaise with suppliers regarding incoming shipments and quality issues, communicating with the sales and customer service teams to provide updates on order status and address any material-related queries.Requirements:Education: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as textiles, supply chain management.Experience: 3-5 years of experience specifically with textile fibres, yarns, or fabrics sourcing.Skills:Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Basic knowledge of textile materials and quality control principles.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.What We Offer:In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, develop your skills and expertise, and contribute to the success of our organisation.
