About the RoleWe're looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative technology in the passenger transport industry.As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend applications that meet the needs of our global customer base.Your primary focus will be on building scalable and efficient Python/MySQL backends hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS).You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and ensure seamless collaboration between frontend, backend, testing, and application design.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).5+ years of experience in backend development, particularly with web and mobile applications.Strong expertise in Python and MySQL, with proven experience building scalable applications.Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), version control, and CI/CD practices.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Ability to manage time effectively and deliver in a fast-paced, global environment.A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to learn quickly.Strong teamwork and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset.About UsWe are a fast-growing start-up headquartered in San Francisco, CA, USA in the heart of Silicon Valley.
