The ideal candidate manages 10+ engineers and managers, aligning with Data Engineering and ML/API teams to deliver end-to-end reliability and performance.Lead frontend architecture design and implementation for React/Next.js applications.Oversee the work of 10+ frontend engineers and managers to drive high-velocity development.Develop and maintain architecture documents, design specs, and implementation plans for executive review.Collaborate with data, machine learning, and API teams to align architecture and delivery roadmaps.Establish best practices for CI/CD automation, testing, observability, and release automation in frontend engineering.Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for velocity, UX performance, and developer productivity.Qualifications6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership position managing 10+ engineers.Deep expertise in modern frameworks like React, Next.js, and TypeScript.Demonstrated success in building and operating large-scale frontend platforms.A strong foundation in CI/CD automation and frontend observability.Proven ability to create architecture documentation and facilitate design reviews.Additional RequirementsExperience with real-time frontends, such as websockets and live data.Familiarity with cloud deployment pipelines and Vercel/CloudFront.
