Physical Design EngineerThis is a senior/lead position in digital IC design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floorplanning, placement, routing, clock tree synthesis, and optimization.Floorplanning and Placement: Experience in designing and implementing efficient floorplans and placements for complex digital circuits.Routing and Clock Tree Synthesis: Proficiency in routing and clock tree synthesis tools, including Innovus, ICC2, and Fusion Compiler.Static Timing Analysis (STA): In-depth understanding of STA principles and techniques for timing closure and physical design sign-off.Optimization: Focus on power, performance, and area (PPA) optimization techniques, including DFM and DFT.Sign-off: Conduct DRC, LVS, and parasitic extraction for clean designs.Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with design, verification, and manufacturing teams to drive tape-out process and ensure high-quality designs.Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, with 5+ years of experience.Preferred Skills: Experience with advanced packaging technologies, scripting languages like TCL, Perl, or Python for automating design tasks, excellent problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.About the Role: This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a senior/lead physical design engineer.
