Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, with experience in designing, executing, and maintaining both automated and manual test cases.The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, automating, and executing functional tests for REST APIs (using Postman/Newman) and end-to-end tests for frontend components (using Cypress or Selenium).Key Responsibilities:Design, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases—covering APIs, frontend, and other critical system components—to ensure comprehensive test coverage.Develop and automate functional tests for REST APIs and end-to-end tests for frontend components.Document, manage, and track test cases, bugs, and QA activities, leveraging integration tools for traceability between requirements, test cases, and defects.Execute regression, smoke, and exploratory tests manually as needed to validate system functionality and uncover issues beyond scripted scenarios.Create clear QA reports based on manual and automated test results, providing actionable insights to help teams track and improve quality over time.RequirementsTo succeed in this role, you should have:3–4 years of experience in QA roles, with a strong focus on test automation and QA best practices.Hands-on experience writing and executing automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.Proficiency with Postman for API testing, including environment configurations and collection scripting.Ability to generate clear QA reports that summarize test results, failures, coverage, and quality insights.QualificationsPreferred qualifications include:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.Nice-to-have SkillsHaving experience with the following tools would be beneficial:Cypress Dashboard, GitLab Pages, or other tools for automated test reporting and visualization.Performance or load testing tools.
